Rest in Peace
The club is named after a beloved member of our group, who passed away Tony "Too Tuff" Hale. Too Tuff was an amazing competitor, and athlete. An expert level chess player who could truly do anything he put his mind to. Too Tuff loved blitz chess. He was known as a brilliant attacking player, ready to sacrifice at any time, and a trash talking extraordinaire. His positive attitude, and smile in the face of any adversity will be in our hearts, and minds forever. Some of his life accomplishments are as follows:
- Decathlete who qualified for the 1980 Olympics
- 14-Time All-American NCAA Division III Decathlete
- Professional bowler (six 300 games)
- Professional long drive golfer (400+ yards)
